No other company has resolved the problem of cabin standing waves in such a radical way.

Cabin : Modern sculpture rather than loudspeaker cabin, in the shape of  a Complete Pyramidoid with Upright-Base (patent pending), inducing zero axial, tangential and oblique eigenfrequencies. This means that within the cabin there are no standing waves which are commonly perceived as “colorations” or resonances originating from parallel surfaces. Triangular sides offer superior stiffness and less vibration modes (please notice, there are five sides, not six). The resulting loudspeaker is free of resonances due to shape, has less vibrating modes and combines more stiffness at less weight : the loudspeaker SIRENE 60 is 1,45 meters tall and weighs 24,8 kg only.

This shape of cabin is the main reason why the SIRENE series loudspeakers produce superior sound compared to any other loudspeaker cabin or baffle, regardless price and brand that may be.

Cabin material : MDF 19/22/25 mm. Scientific literature indicates that MDF is an unsurpassed material for loudspeaker cabin walls regarding homogeneity and damping properties in relation to specific mass and elasticity.

Metallic structures, bolts, screws : Bronze, Aluminum, non-magnetic Inox.

Support : the revolutionary Hamac (patent pending) offers the total and perfect acoustic decoupling of  the loudspeaker and floor.

Dampers : The Delux and Hilux model series fully regulated supports are based on 3 dampers in a cylinder/ rubber absorber/ piston combination. The piston is isolated from cylinder by means of an elastic O-ring.

Speaker arrangement : TM combination, sunk tweeter for zero delay at 1 meter height (optimum listening position) at any distance, models SIRENE 35, KIRKI 25 series.

MTM combination, sunk tweeter for zero delay at 1 meter height (optimum listening position) at any distance, models SIRENE 60 series.

TMM combination, sunk tweeter for zero delay at 1 meter height (optimum listening position) at any distance greater than 2,5 meters, model MONOLITHOS 60 series.

Speakers : Scanspeak masterpieces, the illuminator series, best transducers in the world. Extremely flat SPL & Impedance vs Frequency performance, minimal (negligible) harmonic distortion. Processed paper cones, extreme displacement and “underhung” motors for the 6,5′ woofers, soft dome and hexadym neodymium magnets for the famous “aircirc” 1′  tweeters.

Internal wiring : Worldclass Van den Hul AWG 14 /2X98 extra dense silver-coated multistrand Oxygen Free Copper, counter-rotating strands, halogen-free hulliflex insulation, extremely low reactance.

Binding Posts : WBT classic  – heavily goldplated.

X-overs : 1rst order, external (or internal), handmade. Every single component is individually checked and measured before assembly. KIRKI 25 Illumination & SIRENE 35 incorporate the proprietary PHASE network  for optimum psychoacoustic performance (Phase-shift Autoregulation for Signal Enhancement).

Components : MOX resistors, high stability – ultra-low loss polypropylene foil capacitors, air-core coils, highest-end EU technology.

Finish : Multiple layer paint and lacquer varnish. You may also ask for natural veneer : olive tree root , bubiga , cherry tree, high-gloss  finish. Veneers are selected one by one, so they are unique !
